WWI Royal Naval Air Service Hat - circa 1916

RNAS enlisted mechanic garrison hat in dark blue wool. Size about 7; maker's label inside worn thin and not readable; hat band intact but slightly frayed in back. Very small ink name inside sweatband: I. Heald; beieved not to be the owner of this hat. Overall about good condition. A rare hat seldom seen.
