USN Blimp Formation Flight Photo - 1944

Original 9x7" b&w press photo of eight Navy blimps in a V-formation. These "L" Class ships were stationed at Moffett Field, California and used for anti-submarine work. Press release pasted to the reverse. Very good, some editing crayon marks in margin. Certificate of authenticity from the Baltimore Sun.
