Signed and Inscribed Photo, 1st Licensed Pilot in Russia - 1910

Black and white 3.5 x 3.5" original vintage photo. Ink location and date on the front: "Mourmelon {France} Mars 1910".  On the back in French: "With all my wishes for good luck from the first aviation pilot licensed in Russia, Aug 16, 1910. {signed} H. Segno"  Some research included with the photo which identifies Henryk Segno and details his 1909-1913 early aviation career.  On August 31, 1910 he was awarded diploma No. 1 from the all-russia Aeroclub.  He is mentioned in the 1916 book "Aerial Russia" by Lieut-Col B. Roustam-Bek.  The photo and inscription are in excellent condition.  Very rare; likely unique.  (I have watermarked with my logo in the lower right corner to prohibit copying)
