Original vintage press photo, 6.5 x 8.5", b&w. Press release pasted to the back: "...just to make sure no foreign plane takes a pop-shot at one of the Pam-American Trans-Atlantic Clipper planes at distant parts of the world..." It goes on to say that all the Clippers will get the American flag painted at the Baltimore base, the Yankee Clipper being the first. Release is dated 29 Aug 1939. Very good condition.
