Genuine vintage b&w press photo, 6x8". Typed text on release (pasted on back and folded to front) speaks to Japanese aviator Uichi Suwa who was chosen to be one of four pilots to attempt the trans-Pacific flight. My research shows the flight never occured but this photo deserves more indepth inspection. About fair-good condition, light pencil marks in the suitcoat which are not visible except in oblique light. Large news agency rubber stamp on reverse; no date on photo or press release (number "122027" appears which may be 20 Dec 1927).
