Oblong 5x9" photo of a large crowd. Photo has been folded three times vertically. Interesting text on the reverse in ink: "Crowd watching the First Airmeet in Boston,Mass Oct 1910 Squantum Field. My boss flew an old crate from here to Nashua N.H. to Providence R.I. & back - the first tri state flight with a mail bag too....{and more about the photo}, signed R.B. Hoit". Note: photo is very dark and I lightened it with a special program. Shown is both the lightened version and the original darker one. Otherwise good condition. Very historic photo.
