Vintage 6 x 8" b&w press photo portrait of an Air Mail pilot in flight gear just after he crashed him plane.   Press release pasted to the back identifies him as "B. Walsh of March Field, Riverside, turned over his plane completely upside down in attempting to land at Grand Central Terminal today...He evidently had mistaken Grand Central for United Airport where the Airmail planes land."   Release is dated 2/27/1934; Acme NewsPicture and N.E.A. rubber stamps on the back.  Excellent condition.
