"One-of a-Kind" Consolidated Vultee Plant Tour Book - 1947

Plastic comb-bound book with grey card covers.  Title is: "President's Temporary Air Policy Commission, Plant Tour, Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation, San Diego, California, October 8, 1947".  Book is custom prepared for the tour.  There are 13 pages of text and 31-8.5x11" full page glossy original photos of the plant and of the aircraft produced from 1925 to 1947.  41 aircraft are pictured of which 12 are experimental.  The tour covered the Engineering Dept, the Wind Tunnel, Experimental Shops, Experimental Yard, Detail Parts Production, Primary Assembly, Final Assembly, Flight Line and Flight Testing. This President's Commission was in operation from July 18. 1947 to Jan 1, 1948 with the purpose of helping President Truman establish air policy.  The final report was published as "Survival in the Air Age".  Very good condition.  Likely the only survivor of this event.
