Joe Hart to Seeks to Break Endurance Record - 1928

Vintage original photo, 10x8", b&w.  Extensive cursive handwritten note across most of the reverse introduces Joe Hart who will fly over Chickasha, Oklahoma in an attempt to break Eddie Stinson's endurance record.  Hart is shown here upon landing at Chickasha from a flight from San Diego where he picked up his Ryan aircraft.  File date is 4/27/1928.  Very good; one small corner crease and one small margin tear.
