Vintage Daily Mirror press photo, 6x8", b&w. Penciled on the back is "Lieut. Georges P.D'Oisy". D'Oisy was a WWI French Ace and on 24 Apr 1924 he attempted a circumnavigation, crashing in Shanghai. The date on the photo is 5/27/1924 so it is likely the story behind it is the failed attempt. Very good; some margin black rubs and cropping notes upper right.
