Two leaves (plus one unrelated), loose, from Harper's New Monthly Magazine, 1854. Pages 521-524 entitled "The First Aeronaut". Curious article about Pilatre des Rosiers and his captive ascents in 1783, his free-flight in November of that year and his death in 1785 in a rapid descent from 1700 feet.
