Early Gas Balloons - A pair reverse painted on glass

A lovely set of oval wood frames, 20" h x 14"w with reverse-painted-on-glass images of ca. 1870s European gas balloons. I have tried to identify these balloons with little luck except to say that they may well be fantasy pieces of more recent vintage. No matter; they are really well done art works that will display nicely in the right setting. Excellent condition, bright colors. (Will require special packaging and shipping at extra cost)
