German Zettel was a crew member (engine mechanic) on LZ-127, Graf Zeppelin, from 1928 to include the Round-the World flight in 1929. He continued to serve as Chief Mechanic but transfered to the new LZ-129, Hindenburg, in 1936. He was in theEngine #3 area when the Hindenburg caught fire and he escaped with only minor injuries through an engine compartment window. Zettel passed away in 1984. Excellent condition. A most unusual career story on famous airships.
