Original 5x7" b&w press photo, the same image as below. This time the press release on the reverse is announcing Shoemaker as the new commander of Lakehurst, replacing Cmdr Maurice Pierce. The release has a date stamp of 10 Jul 1930 and there is mention of Shoemaker's recent trip on the Graf Zeppelin. Very good.
