Swallow-tail guidon, 19 x 29", blue wool with finely stitched-on gold winged-prop in center, 9752nd above and AIR RES SQ below in gold glue-on letters, double sided. Colors are those of the US Army Air Corps in the 1930's - early 1940's. I believe this may be the 9752nd Air Reserve Squadron although I was unable to verify (deserves some serious research). Sleeve for a parade flag pole contains a small Philadelphia Quartermaster's label (no date) with inspector's number. A few very small moth holes and light soiling; generally good + condition. It may be that this was a generic guidon with only the winged prop, other lettering added later.
