Aerial Weather Reports Initiated - 1931

Vintage original press photo, 8x6", b&w.  Press release on reverse announces a series of Air Service Stations to provide weather reports to aircraft in flight courtesy of the British Automobile Association.  In the photo an aircraft is equipped with a special aerial for receiving the reports.  Release is dated 11/6/1931.  Very good,
