• Aristo-Craft ID Model Poster - circa 1947

    SKU: 20-POST-26

Wonderful two-side color poster.  Open size 32x21".  One-half (16x21") of one side has the B-17/P-39 color rendering shown to the left.  The other one-half, same side, is a list of instructions on how to paint and display the black plastic ID models they sold. The entire reverse side (32x21") is the depiction of all of the models Aristo-Craft was selling.  I have reason to believe these were the surplus solid black plastic ID models so prevalent in WWII and now so difficult to find.  Eight-folded, bright colors, about good +, some weakening at the folds.

  • Curtiss-Wright Experimental Aircraft Blueprint - 1932

    SKU: 20-POST-25

Very large 54x32" original blueprint for the Pegasus Model XF-32 Freighter.  Classic top/side/front view drawing of this single-engine high wing aircraft.  Data table at the left shows a 600 HP engine, gross weight of 11,000 lb, cruise at 101 mph, range of 455 miles.  Folded 18 times to a folded size of 9x12".  Excellent original condition.  Very rare drawing of an experimental aircraft (likely never made it past the drawing board) in the Golden Age of aviation development.

  • Curtiss-Wright Cowling Blueprint - 1945

    SKU: 20-POST-24

Large 34x22" original blueprint with unusual perspective of the closed cowling on the left and the cowling with all access panels open on the right.  Index on the lower right is rubber stamped "Advance Print" and in lettered: "General Arrangement/Engine Cowling".  No indication on the drqawing of the aircraft or engine but I am guessing that it's for an inline internal combustion engine.  Very good condition.

  • French Poster - WWII era circa 1944

    SKU: 20-POST-22

Image of a gutted church with flames in the background; foreground has two silhouettes talking.  The artist is M. Mallet, dated 1944.  A rough translation of the French text is:  "Shut-Up! - The Germans fled - The spy rests".  Distributed by the War Ministry, Information Directorate.  Clear message of keeping quiet even though the Germans were retreating.  About fair condition; corner and edge chips, eight folded as most are but would benefit from linen mounting.
