  • WWII USAAF Electric Heated Clothing Instructions - circa 1944

Seldom seen tri-fold instruction sheet (5.5x9.5" closed, 16.5x9.5" open) printed both sides for the set of Electrically Heated Clothing, Army Air Forces Type F-3A. Opens with an illustration of the full set of components, then a listing of items, steps in preparing for flight, how to operate, warning to navigators and instructions for mounting adapter plugs. Included is a paper label which was inserted in the package containing the "Trousers; Flying, Electric".  This flight clothing set is very rare but if you happen to be lucky enough to have it in your collection, you really need this instruction sheet posted along side!  Very good condition.

  • WWI Pilot Photo & Frank Tallman Business Card

Small 3x5" b&w photo of two WWI-era pilots in full flight gear.  Accompanying the photo is a business card of famous movie pilot Frank Tallman.  In 1961 Tallman formed Tallmantz Aviation with partner Paul Mantz.  The company provided flight scenes for many famous movies.  Mantz died in 1965 in the last scene of Flight of the Phoenix. Tallman died in a routine flight in 1978. Very good; no known link between the photo and business card except they were discovered together.

  • Zeppelin Egg Cup

Small and nicely decorated cup, about 2" tall by slightly less in width.  Has a lovely gilt and blue lip ring, company logo with Zeppelin on one side and "W-B" on the reverse.  Bottom has stamp and name of maker "Heinrich".  Excellent condition.  What I really like about this delicate piece is that it has all the proper and lovely markings in one small package.  While the larger pieces of dinner ware are nice, they are very large with small markings.  This has everything in one small piece making it special to display.

  • Clara Adams Promotional Flyer - 1932

Four-page 8.5x11" promotional piece for speaking engagements by this famous "First-Flyer".  Produced by her management company and offering speeches by this first woman paying passenger on the Graf Zeppelin, Hindenburg and DO-X Flying Boat.  The flyer is circa 1932 so Clara had not yet flown on the Hindenburg; she is well-known for her promotion of aviation and was the first woman paying-passenger to fly around the world on passenger aircraft.  The flyer has some old tape repairs on the cover and inside.  Surely, not many of these survived so condition is not paramount.
