Log book of U.S. Air Service pilot Leo C. Paul. He attended the School of Military Aeronautics, University of California, Berkeley from Sep to Dec 1918 at which time he began flight training at March Field, California, finishing in May 1919. All of his time (46 hours) were logged in the Curtiss JN-4D. 12 pages of the log are completed in ink and certified (he soloed in under 10 hours) Included is his membership card in the Allied Flyers' Club dated June 1920. Very good condition.
