Regular price $25.00

Original real press photo, 6x8".  Press release on the back identifies David Ingalls (far left), Assistant Secretary of the Navy and Charles Adams, Navy Secretary, (having parachute adjusted) as they prepare to takeoff for Akron and the inauguration of the Akron.  Ingalls is legendary as the first and only USN ace of WWI and of the U.S. Navy, period!  He had a remarkably long career in military, public and private service.  Release is dated 23 Sep 1931.  Very good; two corner chips.
