Vintage original P&W enameled brass 2.25" diameter plate. Lengthy Danish text on reverse of vinyl covered mounting card identifies this as from the crash of British Airways Electra 10A G-AESY on 15 August 1939 off the coast of Vordingborg, Denmark. The co-pilot survived but the five others perished in the crash. the aircraft was salvaged but corroded beyond repair; this may be the only surviving part. Very good; not removed from card because identifying text covers mounting bolts.
