Regular price $35.00

Original press photo, 9x7", b&w, showing cases of 3.2 beer being loaded on an American Airways plane in Chicago. Even though prohibition was not officially ended until Dec 5, 1933, 3.2% beer became legal to drink at midnight, April 7, 1933. This photo carries an Acme Newspictures press release on the reverse that speaks to feverish activity loading airplanes with beer for delivery to nearby cities. Very good; one small margin tear and one corner fold.
