Nicely framed and matted display, 10x20", with four insets: 1) At the top, a souvenir color postcard showing the Imperial German Army Airship SL-11 in flames over Cuffley, England on Sep 3, 1916; 2) Below the postcard is a circa 1920 Imperial German Army Commemorative Airship Badge, 2.5" long (not inspected outside frame); 3) Card with handwritten identification of a small 4" piece of fabric from the SL-11; 4)Finally a brass plaque engraved with the airship ID and Captain William Schramm, Commander. Very good condition with anti-glare/UV resistant plexiglass. {Accompanying is some research on the airship destruction for which 2ndLt William Leefe Robinson, Royal Flying Corps, was awarded the Victoria Cross}.
