Attractive 8.5 x 11" color certificate with a 4 x 6" cloth U.S. flag attached at the top by the left and right vertical edges. In the center of the certificate is a full color rendering of a emblem/patch with the surrounding text "U-2 Dragon Lady/In God We Trust, All Others We Monitor". Below the emblem is text declaring that the flag was flown on a U-2 to a flight above 70,000 feet from Palmdale, CA on 9/21/1999. At the very bottom are three signature blocks signed by U-2 pilots along with their printed names and call signs. A very historic and attractive relic. Excellent condition.
