RPPC, sepia tone, 3.5x5.5" of profile view of part of the Spirit of St. Louis in a hangar surrounded by a fence. Likely this was taken after Lindbergh's triumphant landing in Paris when his aircraft was locked in a hangar. There is a noticeable rectangular piece of fabric just aft of the cockpit missing. (After landing the exuberant crowd tore pieces from the aircraft). Postally unused French card; very good condition. Unique and rare.
