Putnam's Sons, 1930.  4to (8.5 x 11.5"), Vol I 320p, Vol II 336p, over 1200 illustrations, signed by the author. But best of all are the autographs in volume I: HENRI FARMAN, first cross-country flight in Europe; LOUIS BLERIOT, first flight across the English Channel; GLENN CURTISS, American aviation pioneer; A. WHITTEN BROWN, navigator on the first trans-Atlantic flight; GEORGE HERBERT SCOTT, first trans-Atlantic airship flight; HUGO ECKENER, commander of the Graf Zeppelin; and CLAUDE DORNIER, pioneer German aircraft designer.
