    Beauregard, Nettie H (comp).  Illustrations of Colonel Lindbergh's Decorations and Some of His Trophies.  St. Louis, MO, Missouri Historical Society, 1928.  52pp, photo illustrations of Lindbergh's many trophies, medals, flight gear and awards displayed in Jefferson Hall, St. Louis.  Oblong 11x8", wrps, cover string-tied.  Very good, a little cover fading, no chips or tears.  A visit to this museum, still as displayed in 1928, is a must for any aviation history buff.  These were souvenir brochures no doubt sold after the famous flight.  Uncommon today. Mittler & Sohn, 1930.  123pp, photo illus, hardcover, about very good with light corner bumps.  Most coverage is LTA, seaplanes, and naval aviation.  A few plates on aircraft carriers, subs, etc.  A nice shot of the status of German aviation and military equipment mid-way between the wars.

  • Death in the Air

    Anonymous [Dick Grace].  Death in the Air, The War Diary and Photographs of a Flying Corps Pilot.  London, Heinemann, 1933.  6x9", 166pp, photo (?) illus.  Good.  For many years the photos were thought to be the only air combat (dog-fight) close-up photos to exist.  They were later debunked as elaborate Hollywood fakes likely done with models.  An uncommon book.
