  • 1934 NEAL Wall Advertising Calendar

    SKU: 16-AIR-00007

Colorful 9x10" advertisement for New England Airways Ltd (Australia) on heavy card stock with a string hanger.  Small tear-off monthly calendar for 1934 at the bottom is unused.  Tri-plane image is wonderful (likely a Fokker?)  Condition is near mint except for lower corner bumps and the tri-motor's right wing is creased.  A great period decorator for the airline buff.

  • Philippine Airlines Counter Card, ca. 1950s

    SKU: 16-AIR-00006

Nice 7x11" counter card with folding card prop on the reverse.  AShows route east to San Francisco and west to Europe via DC-6 "Sleeper Planes".  Unused with space for agent's card to be attached.  This must have been a long haul; my flying days in C-141 jet transports took about 20 hours from CA to Clark AB.

  • Maritime Central Airways - Route Map Counter Display

    SKU: 16-AIR-00005

Card-backed map of routes for MCA, ca. 1940s.  9x11" with foldout prop for the airline or travel agency counter.  Small regional airline serving New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, airplane silhouette for something like a DC-3.  MCA was started in 1941 and flew under that name until 1963.  Because of the small number of routes on this card it is likely in the mid-1940s.   Issued by the Prince Edward Island Travel Bureau.  Also shows a few routes by Trans-Canada and Northeast.  VG condition.

  • Imperial Airways Schedule Board - 1935

    SKU: 16-AIR-00002

Detailed schedule for flights June-October 1935.  Arrival and departure days/times through the system in Asia, Australia, the Mid-East and Africa.  26x40", looks to have been a many-fold brochure now mounted to heavy card stock, perhaps to be placed on an easel stand in an airport.  Some yellowing and light edge chipping but generally VG.  Imperial flew DeHavillands, Handley Page and Short Bros. aircraft/flying boats from 1924-1939.  A classic relic from the golden age of air travel.  (large size will require pickup or delivery; extra shipping charges will apply)

  • PAA Poster: "Mail By Air...Everywhere!"

    SKU: 16-AIR-00001

Colorful 22"wx28"h poster by artisit Wittlig, ca. 1930 on heavy card stock.  Shows a globe with air routes throughout the US, Central and South America and Asia.  Central flying boat has Pan American logo and is flanked by a Beech D-18 and what appears to be a DC-3.  On heavy card stock, generally G-VG, small margin stains and corner thumbtack holes.  Some surface wrinkling when viewed close and oblique.  I have never seen this poster before; a great centerpiece for an airline or airmail collector.  Quite rare.
