Original "Handbook - The Curtiss Standard Model V-2 Aeronautical Motor".  Buffalo, Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Corp., 1917.  30pp, illus, wrps, 5x7.5".  Likely one of the worst I have encountered, condition wise...but this is how I like them!  Clearly well used with a cloth spine repair, cover stains and chips.  I bet it's right out of the WWI mechanic's coverall pocket.

  • WWII USN Instructor Log Book, 1942-44

Comprehensive log with approx 60 pages completed.  Owner was Ensign Lawrence F. Behymer who meticulously logged over 1000 hours as a student and instructor, most at Pensacola NAS.  Inside front cover is pasted his flight clothing issue form.  Inside back cover is another flight clothing form from 1943. On the first free end paper is a stamped index of the type of flight designations used in the log.  Aircraft include the N2S, N3N, SNJ, OS2U, SNV.  Clearly Behymer was proud of his service and flying career.  Very good.
