  • Freddie Lund Autographs

    Three rare Freddie Lund items:  1)  3x4" autographed photo of Lund in flight suit and his aircraft inverted;2)  Holiday greeting card, 5x6", with same photo of Lund inset under tabs in folded card, inscribed "New Year Greetings on the fly...Freddie";  3)  3x5" phonto of badly mangled crash annotated at top "Fredy (sic) Lund's job.  Lund was a famous/crowd-favorite air race pilot and then test pilot for Waco, 1928-31.  He was the first to fly an outside loop.  He died in a spectacular mid-air race crash in 1931.

  • Air Show Practice Form - Leonard Peterson, 1938

    Form AC 160-3, U.S. Dept of Commerce, Bureau of Air Commerce.  Two-sides, typed with ink annotations.  Signed by Leonard R. Peterson, Benton Harbor, MI for air show routines to be flown at 1938 Cleveland Races.  Peterson would fly Dart Models G and GW (reg numbers listed); very specific manuevers and altitudes listed.  Peterson was a known airshow/race pilot.  This document is quite rare.

  • Roger Q. Williams Broadside

    Small cardstock broadside, 6x9".  Advertising a lecture by this "Dare-Devil Death Defying Ace"  who is now flying above you.  Likely this is an ad dropped from the air; Williams was to lecture about his plane changing stunt for a week starting 9 days after he performed it in the air.

  • Airshow Broadside, circa 1920s

    Albany (NY?) Airshow, July 11-13.  9x12" flyer, red print on pink paper.  Parachute jumps, wing walking, passenger flights at 1 penny per pound.  Likely late 1920s or early 1930s.  Nice illus of parachute drop.  Small corner chip and small water stain; else very good.  Not many of these survived.

    Four 1920s-30s Vintage Passes:  1) American Air Aces Guest Pass, 1933-34; 2) Employee Season Pass, Teterboro National Airplane Show and Monster Air Circus, no year shown but about 1935; 3) Readmission Ticket, St. Louis Intl Aerobatic Competition at the St. Louis Air Races, 1937; 4) World Championship Air Show OFFICIAL ribbon-like paper pass.  All very good condition.
